And….it’s here! Our annual Netroots Nation Holiday Bazaar has begun. This popular auction highlights the talented folks in our community by giving you the opportunity to bid on dozens of handcrafted items (while supporting the important work of Netroots Nation.) And, oh what a great selection we have for you this year.
Let’s travel below the orange squiggly and check out a few of the 76 items up for bid (and even more on the way.) And did I mention the auction ends Tuesday, December 4th? So start bidding!
Kossack Eric Lewis (ericlewis0) shows you how to create flowers out of junk or other stuff with his signed book,
Garbage Flowers.
This auction item comes with needle-nose pliers and several lengths of wire "stem" for your creations.
Oh, he's generously donated two copies, so look out for both of them!
What’s that you say? Pumpkin Chocolate Loaf? Yes please. Can I have another? I CAN? wohoo!
With this auction item you get TWO Pumpkin Chocolate loaves, one to keep and one to share.
This
hand carved puzzle of a French Bulldog may not answer the age-old question of “Who’s a Good Dog!?!”, but you’ll still have fun putting it together.
Isn’t this
necklace gorgeous? The necklace has a cloisonné pendant with a peacock on it. The beads are light green and amber. The set comes with matching earrings.
Thanks so much to all the folks who donated to this auction! If you have made a donation, please let everyone know in the comments below.
And thank you to my co-chairs of this event, Joan McCarter and Beth Becker. We are so proud to bring this auction to you, which showcases talented Kossacks and other progressives and supports Netroots Nation at the same time.
Finally, a big thank you to the Netroots Nation Development Director, Karen Kolber who works tirelessly behinds the scene to bring the auction to life.
Okay, bid away folks!
